Wayne Kady, Honorary Chief Judge 2019

Wayne Kady, Chief Automotive Designer, GM Design, Retired, is the Honorary Chief Judge for the 2019 Cadillac Fall Festival & Concours d'Eegance. He began his career as an automobile designer in February 1961 and for the next 38 years spent his time divided between the Buick and Cadillac divisions.

In 1968, he was promoted to Chief Designer for the Advanced Cadillac Studio , where he led the design of the highly successful 1971 Eldorado. The 1971 to 1978 Eldorado is 2019's feature model.

As Chief Designer for the Cadillac Division between 1974 and 1988, Wayne Kady directed the design for the Devilles, Fleetwoods, Sevilles and Eldorados of the late `70s and `80s.
